As we finish up the details of preparing for Christmas, I want to encourage us to take time to rest in our Savior’s arms and experience His love for us. Some of us have lost dear loved one(s) and are reminded of the void especially in this season. God is waiting for us to find His love and rest our souls from losses and prepping for our family’s Christmas. We want our families to experience peace and love this Christmas.
In order for our families to enter in our homes filled with peace and love; we must first gain in ourselves. Let's look at both Jesus' example for us to follow as well as Mary Magdalene.

Jesus was our example of humility; He was born in a manger, lived humbly and died a sacrificial death. Jesus is King and ready to extend His love to His children… His love found… in a Silent Night…
“For thus the One who is high and lifted up who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy. I dwell in the high and holy place and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.” Isaiah 57:15
God sees us, “his eyes go to and fro throughout the whole earth.” Jesus sees our needs this season and everyday. Enter in the prescence of God with a humble heart and he will revive your soul filling you with His peace and rest.
I love the story of Mary Magdalene. She was a beautiful example of woman who adored Jesus. Mary was grateful and gave her best to him.-
time... expensive perfume... tears... humility.. great love..
“She stood behind him at his feet, weeping and she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment(perfume).” Luke 7:38
This was a Silent Night for Mary as she anointed his feet with expensive perfume, loving Jesus with humility and love.

Jesus is the Savior that came into the World to save us from our sin ..to give us a New life.. Seated now in the Heavenly.. Living creatures surrounding Jesus saying,
“…Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty, who was and is to come…”
Jesus came humbly into this world to show us how to walk humbly with humanity.
In awe of His love for us.. we can experience a Silent Night like Mary worshipping a Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace..
“For a child is born to us , as son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
We live in a broken world with huge losses and sin, but we have a Savior who comforts us and desires for us to experience a Silent Night often. The reason we were born was to know His love for us. He poured His love out on the cross to give us eternal life.
While the angels above are worshipping Jesus without pause, we can know His love while we quiet our hearts like Mary.
“Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord and He will exalt you.” James 4:10
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
Be intentional, setting special mornings or evenings, silencing your heart.. experienceing His love, rest and peace.
Have many beautiful Silent Nights worshipping Jesus.. Knowing and resting in His love…Being filled with His peace and love to pass on to those you love this Christmas season..
