“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us Rejoice and Be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
Daily, we have the opportunity to remember that the day is the Lord’s. After spending time in His word and prayer each day, we have choices that can make a difference for eternity. There are two things that last in this world- The word of God and Relationships. So, as we go through the day we want our life to count for eternal purposes. We want to honor God by glorifying Him in everything.
In our relationships, humility is the key. Our motive must be sincere and pure. God knows our hearts; He sees all. We can’t fool him. We must check our motives moment by moment. When we mess up (and boy do we!), let’s ask for for forgiveness and move on. Believe me, I know the flesh is weak and our lips get us in a mess often. But, don’t be defeated, confess your shortcomings to Jesus and move forward. We have a full day of opportunities to bring Glory to God!
Looking out on the city of Jerusalem.. Jesus will Return... Israel Trip 2015
“For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of the lips that acknowledge his name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” Hebrews 13: 14-16
Serving God throughout the day brings the true joy. Whether it is serving in the inner city, women in need, tithing, giving financially for missions - God wants us to do things out of a sincere heart for His glory.

“Don’t pretend to love others- Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.” Romans 12:9 NLT
Relying on God’s power and love will permeate His aroma through us! We are intentionally living and wanting our lives to count!!
“But thanks be to God, who in Christ Always leads us in triumphal procession and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of Him everywhere.” 2 Cor. 2:14
